Breakaway Treadmill
The Precor Breakaway™ Slat-Belt Treadmill is a premium, commercial-grade machine designed for high-traffic environments, featuring a durable, low-impact slat belt system. It offers a 0-20% incline, speeds up to 16 mph, and includes "Push Mode" for resistance training, allowing users to build power and intensity and a “Cadence” workout that utilized real time feedback on exercisers cadence and provides guidance on cadence rhythm.
Push Mode Workout
Push Mode is a guided interval workout designed to deliver a structured push-and-recover experience. The workout runs through a predefined sequence of work and rest intervals, using set targets like distance, resistance, and duration to guide performance. Throughout the session, exercisers receive real-time feedback on their progress, including current interval, phase, speed, resistance, and distance, helping them stay focused and on track. Clear prompts and smooth transitions ensure a seamless experience, while built-in controls allow users to pause, skip rest periods, or safely end the workout. Overall, Push Mode combines performance tracking with intuitive guidance to create an engaging and goal-driven training experience.
The Guided Cadence Workout helps exercisers improve running efficiency by gradually increasing their step rate toward an optimal range of 165–180 steps per minute, with each session raising the target cadence by 5% to support steady progression. The workout begins with a short walking warm-up that introduces the goal and prepares the body, followed by a baseline run to measure natural cadence. From there, users are guided through short intervals where they practice running at an increased target pace supported by a metronome, then repeat the same pace without external cues to help internalize the rhythm. This structured flow of measure, practice, and reinforcement builds awareness, improves consistency, and helps runners develop a more efficient, lower-impact stride over time.
